From our permanent office base in Ulverston, Cumbria, our team operates from two warehouses that provide over 300 products, 120 customer-specific products stored through our Tailored to You® service, and over 600,000 products dispatched globally every month.

Our unique selling point for continued success is our focus on providing high-quality, personal service, aiming to make life easier for our customers.

The team sees themselves as an extension of their clients' businesses, dedicated to learning and understanding their products, market position, and industry.

This passion drives our search for new products and suppliers to ensure we can respond to changing customer specifications and keep them stocked.

Warehouse Operative

Our warehouse team are the key to our efficient supply chain, processing orders quickly and efficiently to keep our customers stocked up.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Picking, packing and shipping customer orders
  • Updating all relevant systems involved in processing orders
  • Handling all customer orders in line with the Quality Management System
  • Loading goods for dispatch
  • Manage restocking of all picking areas
  • Perform random SKU stocktake on a weekly and/or monthly basis
  • Reorder stock on backorder via warehouse management system
  • Taking delivery of goods and supplies
  • Quality control checks in line with the Quality Management System
  • Storing goods safely and securely
  • Moving stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a reach truck
  • Maintaining system records of stock inward and outward bound
  • Keeping paperwork up to date
  • Answering email enquiries from other departments within the business
  • Provide information for shipping quotes
  • Adhere to all H&S policies
  • Maximise sales and profits whilst minimising loss and damages
  • Handle all data in line with GDPR Regulations May 2018
  • Keep all warehouses clean, tidy and free from contaminants

Full Time 37.5 hoursMon – Fri 8.30-4.30pm28 days holiday plus bank holidaysSalary 11.45 P/H
