42mm UN Certified Tamper Evident White
This 42mm UN White TE Cap with EPE liner is for use on our 500ml UN and 1 Litre UN bottles.
The tamper-evident cap has a plastic ring that is attached below the screw cap on the bottles. When unscrewing the cap, the ring breaks: the ring can separate from the cap and it will no longer be tamper evident. The plastic ring gives the customer a warning if the seal between the ring and the cap is broken, it is an indication that the contents have been tampered with.
These tamper evident caps are made from polypropylene with an EPE liner to give a better seal on your product.
UN approved packaging is a conformance with United Nations (UN) specifications for packaging that has been built, tested, and certified to carry liquid or solid dangerous materials. This is a unified means to ensure dangerous materials are transported safely.

Polypropylene Caps are known for good impact strength, cost effectiveness, and pliability. These caps are suitable for many products. Polypropylene closures with foamed (EPE) liners have excellent sealing characteristics and offer good chemical resistance including acids, alcohols, alkalis, aqueous products, cosmetics, household oils and solvents.
EPE liners are foam liners pre-inserted into the closure. Expanded polyethylene or EPE is made from LDPE resins. EPE foam has good thermal insulation properties and is also waterproof, thus it has a large number of packaging applications.
